How to Write a Blog Post with AI

Prepare a brief, save a WordPress draft with Niwa, check the facts and publish the version you approve.

To write a blog post with AI, choose a reader's question, provide reliable source notes, prepare an outline and draft the answer. With Niwa, you can carry that work into a WordPress draft, review it on your website and publish the version you approve.

You supply the knowledge and check the facts. Niwa helps with the writing, headings, relevant links and publishing work. The result is an article saved on your site, with a preview you can inspect before it becomes public.

Here is the process, including requests you can use in Niwa's owner assistant.

Before you start

You need a WordPress site with Niwa AI installed, an active licence, a supported AI connection and owner access to the assistant. If you already have a WordPress website, install the standalone plugin; you can keep your existing site. Follow the Niwa setup guide to connect the assistant.

Prepare one reader question, your factual notes, current source links and a short sample of your writing. Keep a working copy of those materials so you can return to them when the article needs an update.

You can connect your own supported AI subscription. Niwa adds no AI usage charges or Niwa-imposed usage limits on that connection. Your provider's subscription limits still apply, and the connection must support your account. A separately billed API connection is another setup option, rather than a requirement for every customer.

1. Start with a question your customers ask

Choose a question with a useful, specific answer. "Dining tables" is a broad subject. "How do I measure my room for a dining table?" gives the article a clear purpose: help someone collect the measurements they need before ordering.

Use questions your team already answers, search suggestions and gaps in your existing pages. Remove identifying details from customer examples before sharing them.

Ask Niwa to check what is already on your site:

Review our existing blog posts for an article answering [reader question]. Show me the relevant pages and whether this question needs a new article or an update to an existing one. Do not change or publish anything yet.

Read the pages Niwa identifies. Improving an existing answer may be more useful than publishing another article with the same purpose.

2. Give Niwa the facts and the reader's goal

Collect the information needed to answer the question: product dimensions, instructions, service scope, approved policies or observations from someone who knows the subject.

Keep a source link and date beside information that may change. Separate verified facts from details you still need to confirm. If you do not know whether a service includes installation, leave that point unresolved.

A concise brief can look like this:

Help me prepare a blog post answering [reader question] for [audience]. The reader should be able to [practical outcome]. Use the factual notes below and my writing sample. Start with a direct answer and use plain language. Mark missing facts as [VERIFY]. Do not invent quotations, customer stories, statistics or product benefits. First suggest an outline and identify information we still need.

Put your notes, sources and writing sample under separate labels. Review the missing-information list yourself; it organizes the checks but does not prove that a source is correct.

3. Approve the outline and draft the sections

Check that the outline follows the reader's task. Remove overlapping sections and topics you cannot support.

For the dining-table example, the article could cover room measurements, space to use the furniture, the delivery route and details to confirm with the seller. A history of dining-room design would add little to that question.

Then ask Niwa to draft a section:

Draft "[heading]" from these notes. Explain what the reader should do and include a relevant example where the notes support it. Avoid repeating earlier sections. Keep unsupported details marked as [VERIFY]. Do not publish the article.

Read each section and correct wrong assumptions before continuing. Ask for the missing action when a passage drifts into general advice.

A practical writing example

Suppose a furniture retailer's example notes specify a 180 x 90 cm table, delivery to the entrance and assembly excluded. These are illustrative inputs, not an actual Niwa customer case.

A useful passage for those notes would be:

Mark a 180 x 90 cm rectangle on the floor where you want the table to stand. Check how your chairs fit around it and whether people can move through the room when someone is seated. Before ordering, measure the delivery route and confirm the packaged dimensions with the seller. In this example, assembly is not included.

The passage helps someone prepare for a purchase. It avoids assuming that tabletop dimensions alone establish whether a table fits the room.

4. Ask Niwa to save a WordPress draft

When the article has a complete answer, ask Niwa to create the post:

Save this article as a new WordPress blog draft titled [title]. Use the slug [slug], prepare a short excerpt and an accurate meta description, and use an appropriate existing category. Include relevant links to our existing pages. Keep it unpublished. Return the saved post ID and preview link.

Niwa's blog writer creates new posts as drafts and returns an edit link, preview link and quality report. Niwa's content workflow includes writing and saving articles in WordPress; publication is a separate step.

Open the saved draft. Check the content, links and metadata, rather than relying only on the assistant's summary. If a quality check flags a problem, correct the reported issue and continue with the same article.

5. Check facts and revise the saved article

Inspect factual claims individually. Check numbers, names, dates, specifications, quotations and links against original sources. Make sure each source supports the sentence beside it.

Remove unsupported claims or return to the person responsible for the information. Involve a qualified reviewer for specialist subjects. An AI saying it checked its own answer is not independent evidence.

Google's generative AI guidance calls for manual review of accuracy and trustworthiness, including metadata. Check the title, description and image text as well as the body.

Read the article aloud, remove repetition and replace broad praise with useful detail. Add something original where appropriate: an explanation from your team, an approved photograph or a comparison you actually made. Credit the real author or reviewer. Google's people-first guidance explains the value of original content and clear authorship.

Give Niwa precise corrections:

Update draft [post ID] with these corrections: [changes]. Keep its status as Draft, update the description if the answer has changed, and return the revised preview. Do not create a second post or publish it.

Review the revised saved article. Niwa updates the existing managed post through its content workflow, keeping related article metadata and checks together.

6. Review the page before approving publication

Open the preview and inspect the page at desktop and mobile widths. WordPress provides View and preview controls for this.

Check that headings are readable, tables fit, images belong to the article and links reach the intended pages. Confirm the title, slug, author, category, excerpt and search description. The WordPress excerpt and search meta description are separate fields.

Make the next step useful for this reader. A dining-table guide could link to the relevant collection or explain which measurements to send when asking for advice. The link should help someone act on the answer.

Keep the article as a draft while corrections remain. This is also the time to remove every unresolved [VERIFY] note by supplying the fact or deleting the unsupported passage.

7. Publish the version you have reviewed

Once you have approved the saved article, ask Niwa to publish that specific post:

Publish the reviewed version of post [post ID]. Return its published status and public URL so I can check the page.

Niwa checks the current article again before publication and ties the publishing action to the approved version. If the post changes after approval, it needs a fresh review before that publishing action can proceed.

Open the public URL and check the visible text, images, links and metadata. A saved draft is still private work; the public page is what readers receive.

When the draft needs more work

  • The article could belong to any business. Give Niwa relevant facts, real examples and a genuine writing sample.
  • Sections repeat themselves. Remove overlapping headings and give each section a distinct purpose.
  • A claim has no reliable source. Supply the evidence or remove the claim before publication.
  • The article is too long. Cut passages that do not help the reader complete the task.
  • The saved page looks awkward. Inspect the preview, correct the layout or content, and review the revised draft.

Common questions

Can Niwa publish my article, or only write it?

Niwa can save, update and publish WordPress blog posts through its governed content workflow. Start with a draft, review it and give the publishing instruction for the approved post. The owner assistant needs the appropriate WordPress access.

Do I need a new website to use Niwa?

Existing WordPress owners can install the standalone Niwa AI plugin. Niwa Business is the option for businesses that also want a website setup or migration, hosting and maintenance.

Does using my own AI subscription mean unlimited provider usage?

Niwa adds no AI usage charges or Niwa-imposed usage limits to a supported own-subscription connection. The underlying provider's account limits and terms remain in effect. Check that your subscription and connection are supported during setup.

Does Google ban AI-written blog posts?

Google's generative AI guidance does not prohibit all AI-assisted content. It warns that generating many pages without adding value may violate its spam policies. A checked article should answer a real question; using AI provides no ranking guarantee.

How long should the article be?

Long enough to answer the question and explain the necessary steps. A complicated decision may need comparisons and examples. A simple task may need much less. Choose the length around the reader's need.

Put the workflow to work on your website

Writing a page with AI is one part of the job. Niwa works inside WordPress after the site is built, helping you prepare, revise and publish content through the owner assistant. That is the practical difference between an AI-built page and an AI-powered website you continue to manage.

For an existing WordPress site, start with the standalone Niwa AI plugin setup.

Niwa Business is USD 150 and includes a custom WordPress website or migration, hosting, maintenance and AI tools adapted to the business. Contact Niwa for the offer details and billing terms for your setup.

Bring your website URL, one customer question and the article you want to prepare. Explain who will review it and what you want readers to do next, so the workflow can follow the way your business actually publishes.
